BEWARE BLOGGERS or anyone using photos via the WEB!!
Please read this blog about an Author/Blogger who was sued for using a photo she found on the web. Unfortunately she was unaware that the photo was copyrighted and the photographer sued her. She learned a great deal about the interworkings and other law pieces to using copyrighted photos/material the hard way. She posted her experience so that she could educate others so they wouldn't have to endure what she did.
Ever since I started seeing the posts on FB and Twitter about individuals stealing artwork, photos, books, and etc. and claiming them as their own, when the work is someone elses, I've been very leery of posting, saving, or etc. anything that doesn't belong to me. I know I know some may say...oh you're just parnoid, it won't hurt anything, but after reading the post by Roni Loren, I feel my paranoia is warranted.
The biggest lesson learned: "I didn't know" doesn't keep you from getting sued or having to pay!!

TOTALLY HOT COVER REVEAL FOR
THE WILD ONES !!!!
by
Release date is set for 8/1/12
I give you The Wild
Ones. *happy sigh*
The Wild Ones
Passion as hot as midnight in the South and love as wild as the horses they tame.
Camille “Cami” Hines is the darling daughter of the South’s champion thoroughbred breeder, Jack Hines. She has a pedigree that rivals some of her father’s best horses. Other than feeling a little suffocated at times, Cami thought she was pretty happy with her boyfriend, her life and her future.
But that was before she met Patrick Henley.
“Trick” blurs the lines between what Cami wants and what is expected of her. He’s considered the “help,” which is forbidden fruit as far as her father is concerned, not to mention that Trick would be fired if he ever laid a hand on her. And Trick needs his job. Desperately. His family depends on him.
The heart wants what the heart wants, though, and Trick and Cami are drawn to each other despite the obstacles. At least the ones they know of.
When Trick stumbles upon a note from his father, it triggers a series of revelations that could ruin what he and Cami have worked so hard to overcome. It turns out there’s more to Trick’s presence at the ranch than either of them knew, secrets that could tear them apart.

Chaos Blog Tour and Giveaway!!

They thought they’d be safe, but a world ruled by chaos doesn’t die easily.
When Max turned on the radio transmissions assuring safety, they came. But, it wasn’t just survivors of the demon apocalypse that crawled their way into the abandoned military base. A myriad of beastly demons unlike any they’ve ever seen came as well. Abby, and her companions, struggle to survive as the evil around them grows. Desperate to endure, and to defend their fellow survivors, Abby and a squad of fierce fighters, take on a dangerous mission that has deadly consequences.
My Review of Chaos: Chaos
was well worth the wait!!!
Who knew that a second installment of a series would be better
than the first book? Megan Duncan has
outdone herself with the second installment of the Agents of Evil Series.
My favorite character, Abby, has grown into a leadership role
in this book which makes her even more likeable than before. It’s nice to see a
woman take charge and even though Abby still has her feminine side, when the
need to kick butt arises she springs into action. The love between Abby and Max
continues to grow and it makes your heart melt.
I loved the new characters that came into the story as well as the reappearance of some characters from the first book. In my review of Released, I expressed how I felt the character Norah, who died, could have played a huge part in the continuing plot. Well, she did from the grave.
The demons in Chaos were quite extraordinary. I hate spiders and after reading Chaos, I hate them even more. My favorite demon so far is the Smoker Demon. It was the most troublesome demon the characters have fought thus far.

Overall, Chaos was definitely well worth the wait. It can be
read as a standalone book since Megan does a great job building up the story
line to give you a good grasp of what’s going on in order to understand the plot
and characters. I would still recommend reading Released before reading Chaos
as it provides more in depth information concerning the plot and the
characters.
