Review of Down to You by M. Leighton

Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
(NOT appropriate for younger readers)

The scorching tale of one girl and two brothers in a love triangle…that’s not.

Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white.

But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her.

Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them.

Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire.

She wants them both.

And they want her.

How will she ever choose between them?

Down to You was SINFULLY AMAZING!!!

M. Leighton has produced a hot and sinfully amazing book. I love the main characters Olivia, Cash, and Nash. The plot and the twist it takes is definitely something that I didn't see coming.

Olivia is definitely the type of female character I like strong, empowered, but still maintains her feminine side. Cash and Nash are twin brothers, Cash is the bad boy and Nash is the good boy. Olivia is falling for them both and they are both falling for Olivia. I'd fall for both Cash and Nash, and holy lord, who in their right mind wouldn't they are the epitime of sexual hotness!! The supporting characters where great. My favorite was Ginger.

Ginger is an older friend/co-worker of Olvia's. Ginger is a hoot, who wouldn't like her.**qoute from Ginger** "Girl, I own it! I'm too old to pretend to be something I'm not. Takes too much effort. Just like faking orgasms. If you don't bring your A-game don't bother showing up at all."

DTY is not for the faint at heart or for younger readers, unless the parents give permission, as it has many juicy, hot, sex scenes and flirtatious sexual commentary throughout the whole book ***fanned myself ALOT***.

I personally loved every minute of DTY and highly recommend it for anyone looking for more than YA, but not ready for erotic.

One of my faovrite scenes:

“I like to use all my senses to get a good lay of the land.”

“Lay of the land?” she asks, the corners of her mouth dimpling.

“Of course,” I reply. “So I can plan my attack.”

“Do tell.”

“First I start with touch.” I reach out and brush one dimple with my fingertip then slowly drag it inward, across her pouty bottom lip. “Touch is invaluable. The texture of the terrain tells me how…aggressive my attack needs to be. Some places require a much more delicate approach than others.”

“I see,” she says softly, her warm breath tickling my finger. “What else?”

“Smell,” I say, sliding my hand into her hair to hold it back as I bury my face in the lightly scented skin of her neck. “A certain scent can tell me if I’m heading in the right direction. Something sweet. Something…musky,” I murmur.

I hear her gasp when I gently bite the flesh beneath her ear. “And hearing,” I whisper. “Sometimes the softest sounds, even a moan can tell me a great deal about how close I am to my attaining my goal.”

I feel her hands latch onto my forearms. Her fingernails are biting into my skin through my shirt. All I can think about is how I want to feel them on the skin of my back instead.

Her breath is coming fast and shallow in my ear. “What else?” she pants.

I lean back and look down into her face. Her lids are heavy over her dazzling eyes and her cheeks are flushed with everything that’s happening between us. She doesn’t want to stop either. There’s no doubt in my mind.

“Taste.”

Her eyes flicker to my mouth and back again. “And what do you taste?”

“Everything. I want to taste everything.”

About M. Leighton:

M. Leighton is a New York Times bestselling author and native of Ohio. Several years ago, she relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: writing fiction. Over a dozen of her novels can now be found on Amazon, as well as several other sites. She's currently working on sequels, though her mind continues to churn out new ideas, exciting plots and quirky characters. Pick one up and enjoy a wild ride through the twists and turns of her vivid imagination.

A note from Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.
